His love is the Key

Our old nature makes us fall into lovelessness quite often. Expect nothing else. That is how the old man works, always looking for some desire to fill the emptiness. 

Instead look to Jesus. Ask yourself: how does He love me? Immediately you know. He loves you so much that He gives his life for you and promise you to meet Him in paradise, very soon. Think about that love for you.

Then you can love again. His love can give you love. That simple.

Spirit to spirit

During a lesson in t'ai chi chih I noticed a young lady smiling and looking so happy. She had done it before the class began. Afterward, she looked just as happy. I could not resist asking her if she was feeling good by practicing and therefore looked so happy. I'll never forget her answer:

- No, I am almost always this happy. I love Jesus. That makes me this happy, pure and simple.

At this moment I just thought it was a bit odd. It was many years ago. Now I know what she is talking about.

There are many good energies of this world. In the body, there are many good energies. The Creator's gifts, all of it. Of course, we've better use them, we've better cultivate them. The right food, the right moves, sleep and rest.

But true happiness is found in love for Him. It is distinct from good or spacious tao-energy. It's not about carnal energy at all, however easy and clean carnal energy can be expereinced in body and soul. Loving Him is about spirit to Spirit. It is is about a marriage in which fidelity and love are living waters.

The most simple way to happiness

You never think so from the outset, but loving God is the most simple way to happiness, the only way that really works. Love his signs, everything you see around you, everything that takes place. But love Him all the time. Love Jesus. So simple.

Of course you can't do it. No man can love God. But you see, He helps you with that. His love for you make you want to love Him, praise Him, say His Name all over again. That is how you can love Him. Not by yourself, but with His loving help. Lord Jesus Christ ! You help me all the time.

Whatever happens during a day, sad thing, irritating things -- just run them over with love for Jesus, while helping out. As a matter of fact you help out much better with that run-over in love for Jesus.

Actually Jesus is living through you when you love Him. When you are turned somewhere else He still loves you, but not really through you. Consciousness is the way for Him to come through. That is why you need to be consiously loving Him.

To be certain, you unconcious mind is bringing you a lot of trouble, desires, foolish passions. But it has no power when you conciousloy love and praise Jesus. It is like light shining and dark shadows cannot subsist.

That leaves us with praising constantly, loving Him constantly. If it is easy and brings happiness -- why not do it constantly? Really, there is no need to take a paus from happiness, is there?
